What Is Iced White Chocolate Mocha?

As the name suggests, it’s an iced drink that contains a mixture of a lot of yummy ingredients like espresso, milk, loads of ice, and of course, white chocolate sauce! It’s also topped off with whipped cream if you like it. This drink is perfect for the summers; it will help you cool off plus give you the caffeine dose you need.

How to Make the Homemade Version of Starbucks Iced White Chocolate Mocha

Instead of making expensive visits to the coffee shop, we found a way you can save your money and make this drink at home yourself! All you’ve got to do is follow some steps, and your cold coffee will be ready in no time.

  • Step 1: Getting the Ingredients

Before making anything, you obviously need to ensure you’ve got the stuff required for it. To make this delicious drink, you will need the following things that are easily available at almost every grocery store:

  • Coffee(espresso)
  • White Chocolate Sauce
  • Milk
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped Cream (If needed)

Since Starbucks sells its own sauces, you can buy their Frappuccino white chocolate mocha sauce to get the perfect taste. For coffee, you can use any kind which you prefer as you don’t really need an espresso machine for the iced drink.

If you don’t want to buy premade white chocolate syrups, then there’s a way you can make it from scratch! For that, all you need are two things; milk and white chocolate. First, heat up the milk and whisk it continuously; once the milk is close to boiling, remove it from the stove and add shredded white chocolate in it. Whisk the two things together until you’re left with a soft and smooth texture, then let it cool for a bit before using it.

  • Step 2: Make Espresso

To get the original flavor, you can buy Starbucks dark roast coffee beans; however, you can also use other coffee brands. You can make the espresso through any method that’s easy for you, such as by a machine, brewing, or simply using instant espresso powder. It’s best to let it chill for a while before using it.

Starbucks espresso already contains sugar, so if you’re making your own espresso, you might want to add some sugar to your drink if you like it sweet.

  • Step 3: Add It All

Once your espresso is ready, it’s time to add all of the other ingredients! For milk, Starbucks specifically uses 2% milk for this iced drink; however, you can use any kind you like. First, add the white chocolate syrup to the cup, fill it in with the espresso shot and milk, then mix it. After stirring it, add in loads of ice and top it with whipped cream, and that’s all it takes to make your perfect copy of Starbucks iced white chocolate mocha.

A little tip would be to use a shaker for the blending instead of mixing with a spoon. This is because shaking the drink will allow all the ingredients to blend together more smoothly than stirring would.

Variations of The Iced White Chocolate Mocha

The best thing about making drinks yourself is that you can always give them an extra touch. To create a different spin on your iced white chocolate mocha, you can add various kinds of flavor to it. The most famously added ones include the peppermint syrup, or if you’re a fan of caramel, then you can drizzle some on top.

With just some small steps, you can make your own version of Starbucks Ice White Chocolate Mocha whenever you want! You can adjust the strength of coffee, type of milk, etc., according to your own preferences.
